The technical volunteer training programme began at the training centre in the Qurban district and runs for six weeks with two sessions a week.

It covers the basics of household plumbing and electrical work, the safety requirements for working inside occupied homes, and how completed work is documented in the association's reports.

Volunteers who pass receive a certificate from the association qualifying them to join field campaigns.
